Black sheep of the family to finding myself in Charleston."A$iahMae (they/she) is a Black, non-binary Southern poet, cultural worker,
and the current Charleston Poet Laureate.
Children will stay with their grown ups in Gage Hall.
During the summer months, the nursery in the Annex is open to children
ages 7 and under from 10:00 AM-12:15 PM.

Please join us this Saturday, July 19th from 9-11:30 at the Lowcountry Food Bank at 2864 Azalea Ave. in North Charleston.
We will be sorting retail food donations, so the work will not be too strenuous (but bring reading glasses to check expiration dates!).
We will not have a work party in August, so the next date will be Saturday, September 20th. Please sign up using the link provided, or just come join us anyway.

Blessing Box Update
THANK YOU to all of you have signed up for the Blessing Box. There are still open dates this summer. Also, the back up pantry is bare. Please consider bringing more food so that we have enough to refill during the week. Again, when you bring food, if the box is empty, go ahead and fill it. If you have leftover food it goes into the ivory colored cabinet in Gage Hall. You can fill the Blessing Box anytime, not just on the week you have signed up for. THANKS, the need is growing.
To share a significant life event (births, deaths, celebrations, transitions and other joys and sorrows) send to Marcia Castano at marciapate5@gmail.com by Saturday evenings at 6:00 p.m. or write them in person on Sunday morning. The physical book is kept at the front of the church near the pulpit.
