Dear friends,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce my resignation as Membership Coordinator with the Unitarian Church.
It was a difficult decision, but when I was recently offered a full time job with the Charleston County Public Library as a Children's Librarian at the West Ashley Branch, I had to accept.
I am so sad to leave my post with the UU and I want to thank each and every one of you for making my (short but sweet!) time here absolutely amazing.
As I have expressed to my co-workers, of all the new jobs I've ever started, this one has been the most welcoming and loving! I immediately felt like an important part of the team and the church family as a whole. That feeling is absolutely priceless.
I will continue to be at the Membership Table during coffee hour every Sunday until the end of December, and beyond if needed. I also plan on continuing to attend church events and service as a friend, and maybe one day as a member. So you haven't seen the last of me! :)
