Staffing Update
|
|
|
This summer we have experienced some unexpected, bittersweet staffing changes. Here is the news directly from the staff.
|
Dear All,
It is with a sad but hopeful heart that I am writing to say goodbye. My time as a member of the office team has come to a close. Amid many changes in my personal life, I am excited to create more time for my children. It has been a joy working with you all this past year and the Unitarian Church in Charleston will always have a special place in my heart.
With appreciation,
Erika Gosselin

Dear All,
I need to share some news with you all - David and I are going to be leaving Charleston. David was offered and has accepted a job in the Boone/Blowing Rock area as Executive Director of the Blue Ridge Conservancy. This is pretty much his dream job, and honestly it seemed like love at first sight between him and the organization.
I am happy to be returning to the mountains, but it hurts my heart to be leaving you all, my friends, my job and my church community. David is starting in mid-August and although I don't know my departure date, it certainly won't be any earlier than the end of August (if then).
Rebecca and I are working on a staffing plan where I will keep doing the finances and HR remotely. An office manager would take over the admin/operations.
I am sad to be leaving, but I look forward to continuing my work with the church. I am continually inspired by our community's commitment to keeping the light of our liberal faith going and growing in these tough times.
Sincerely,
Christine Magnarella Ray
