A Very Universalist Easter
If Christmas is all about giving, Easter is all about receiving. Join us at 11am for our annual, traditional Easter service as we celebrate and receive unconditional love. A shorter, family-friendly service will be offered at 9:15am, with simply the easter story and music, followed by our annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10am.

Volunteer Opportunity
Saturday, April 26th
The Edisto Natchez-Kusso Tribe is looking for some help with their upcoming powwow on Saturday, April 26th. Specifically, we are in need of 6–10 volunteers to help direct parking throughout the day. We’re hoping to organize two shifts of 3–5 volunteers each, with the first shift running from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the second from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
If anyone in the congregation is able to offer a few hours of their time, it would be a great service to our tribal community. I also believe it would be a fun and meaningful day for those who volunteer—a chance to experience Native culture firsthand and support an event that means a great deal to us. Contact Rev. Rebecca or church member Clint Tawes
SATURDAY, April 26; 1 PM
BURGERS AND BREWS
UU members and friends can still purchase a ticket to attend the upcoming "Burgers and Brews" auction event sponsored by the UU Men's Group, but only a limited number of seats are still available. See the below information if you would like to join us for this fun and tasty happening.
When: Saturday, April 26, starting at 1 pm (expected to last 2-3 hours).
Where: 42 Edinburgh Rd, the home of Mark Farnham/Lisa Hajjar in West Ashley.
What to eat: Burgers and dogs on the grill, sweet corn, assorted slaws, baked beans, and other assorted snacks. Vegetarian options (e.g., veggie burgers, vegan baked beans, etc.) will be available.
What to drink: A variety of beer (e.g., Lite, dark, IPA, lager, pilsner, etc.), soft drinks, iced tea, and more
What to do: visit with friends, play a game of corn hole, enjoy the day, and more.
A few tickets are still available. They must be purchased at the original auction price ($30 for adults and young people over 12; children under 12 are free) and the sale needs to be recorded with the church office, so our group gets credit for our contribution to the auction fund. If you want to participate, please call Mark Farnham at 843-367-9663 so we can make sure the purchase is recorded and the Men's Group has an accurate head count.
