Welcome to our new Membership Coordinator, Julie Standish!
Hello!
My name is Julie and I am so looking forward to meeting all of you! I was born and raised in the rolling hills of Southern Ohio, and I have lived in Charleston off and on for the past 8 years. I have a masters degree in library and information science, and an undergraduate degree in communications. I love all things nature, reading, traveling, and spending time with my dog, Homer, and my cat, Pinecone.
COMMUNITY & CHURCH NEWS
The Parking Lot and Gage Hall are Getting A Makeover!
Over the next few weeks, Campus will be buzzing with activity! From Monday August 4 to Wednesday August 6, the north side of our parking lot will be re-graveled. That means that none of our weekday parking spaces will be accessible. If you need to visit the church, please park on the street or in a parking garage. After 6 pm, the south spaces across the alley are available to us.
Thanks to the Lucy Boyle Fund, we are also giving the second floor of Gage Hall some love. Next week staff and volunteers will be moving everything out to prepare for two weeks of ceiling repair, repainting and recarpeting. During that time, staff will be working remotely. So please email or call if you want to meet with one of us. Although we don't have an exact date yet, the goal is to have everything completed and back in place by the end of August.

Musicians Wanted!
This fall we will be forming a UC- CHS "House Band," which will play for the service one Sunday a month.
This volunteer group will cover a wide variety of styles and genres, depending on the themes of the service. We are primarily looking for drums, guitar, electric bass, keyboard, and singers; however we are open to other instruments! Time commitment is minimal, 1-2 rehearsals per service beginning in late September/early October.
