Join us for our annual Holiday Pageant. All children are welcome to help us tell the Christmas story. To join in the fun please arrive at 10am for a short rehearsal.
Share the Plate In November we shared the plate with the Lowcountry Orphan Relief and raised $351.05 for them.
This Sunday we will share the plate with the UU Service Committee. 100% of the donations received will go to UUSC. Please make all checks out to UUSC. Additionally, UUSC requires a name and address be included with each donation, so we will have extra envelopes for any cash donations in the pews. Any cash donations made without a name and address indicated on an envelope will go entirely to the Unitarian Church in Charleston. Those who participated in Guest at Your Table, please bring your donation with you this Sunday. Remember to submit a check for the total amount you collected. We are unable to accept any coins as part of your donation.
9:30 AM - Nursery Opens, Annex - Children ages 5 and under are welcome in the nursery 9:30am - 12:15pm.
9:45 AM - Meditation, Upper Gage Hall Participants gather for an hour to practice insight meditation and discuss various aspects of the meditative path and its interplay with our lives. 10:00 AM - RE Classes, Sanctuary - This Sunday all youth and children are asked to come to the Sanctuary to prepare for the Pageant.
Reminder! Our annual Christmas pageant will take place during service this Sunday.
All children and youth are encouraged to attend even if you missed last Sunday's planning session. There are lots of simple non-speaking roles and costumes will be provided so please join us at 10am in the Sanctuary to practice before the 11am Service.

How You Can Prepare: Read the Racial Bias Audit – Know the facts and recommendations. This is your blueprint for accountability. Come with Questions Ready– This is the time to hold NCPD accountable to successful implementation. Talk to Your Congregation and Community Members – Spread the word. We need strong attendance to show NCPD that our community is watching and engaged.
This Is Our Moment! We demanded these meetings at Nehemiah Action. We got Chief Camacho to commit to community engagement. We got the meetings scheduled. Now we need to show up with informed questions and hold NCPD accountable.

Please consider signing up to bring donations on an upcoming Sunday: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C044EAAA82EAAF49-57940404-fall#/ We have increased the number of slots available in the sign up genius, but please know, even if the signup is "full" our pantry always has more space.
Blessing box donations can be placed directly in the box, if there is room, or in the storage cabinet in the southwest corner of Gage Hall. Throughout the week, staff will refill the box outside as space allows.

Ren Manning will be in Gage Hall Sundays during coffee hour to collect completed forms and answer any questions you have. The Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year so thank you for your early support! More information regarding the auction itself, volunteer opportunities, and donations will be published here over the coming weeks.
Interested in joining our vibrant Music Program?
For the singers, our Chancel Choir rehearses every Wednesday! Interested singers are welcome to attend. For other musicians, we have a house band that plays in the Sunday service monthly and rehearses 1-2 times prior to that service. The physical book is kept at the front of the church near the pulpit.
