 John Warner – Only Humans Write: Why You Shouldn't Outsource Your Humanity to ChatGPT
Large language models like ChatGPT generate syntax. Humans write. These differences are important in ways we almost cannot fathom.

John Warner is a former visiting instructor at the College of Charleston and author of several books about writing and teaching writing, including More Than Words: How to Think About Writing in the Age of AI, Why They Can't Write: Killing the Five-Paragraph Essay and Other Necessities, and The Writer's Practice.

Classical Pride Charleston is a celebration of LGBTQIA+ community in Classical Music. It will feature LGBTQIA+ composers both past and present, as well as performers who identify with or provide allyship for the LGBTQIA+ community.  This year's feature piece is "Appalachian Spring" by Aaron Copland.  The concert will include a chamber orchestra, the UU Chancel Choir, The Palmetto Peace Choir, and various guest artists.
